Many people are acutely aware that we are not properly nourished but because of the confusion out there about what we should or shouldn't eat, people are inconsistently able to pull off a diet that is actually nourishing them.  A great rule of thumb is:  If you can't potentially raise it or grow it, you shouldn't eat it....If a food has health claims listed on the packaging, it is probably NOT good for you!   Unfortunately, product packaging is all about marketing strategies and not about truly informing the consumer.  In the case of many snack foods such as crackers, chips, cereals, etc., the processing of them strips them of nutrients and so the processor then ...

What is it about our culture that keeps us from doing what we know to be right?  We all know, even if it is subconsciously, that the way we live, eat, drink and sleep is not adequate.  Maybe part of the problem is all of the misinformation and the confusion over what will truly make a difference in our health and wellbeing.  One report will come out and demonize eggs and then over the next few years, an updated report will come out and tell us all that "No, eggs are good!"  Our population has never been so sick, nor so overweight, starving for real nutrition.  As a practitioner, I see so many people who are truly ill and suffering and yet, not sick enough for the ...

I get many questions from patients regarding holding their adjustments following treatment.  I find that it is often difficult for patients to remember that daily activities and general stressors can make the body go out of alignment.  It can be crucial to look at habits, work stations, repetitive motions, and auto seat positioning, to name just a few, to find out what is irritating the body, causing micro-trauma that retards the body's ability to heal.
